আমাদের গল্প (The Story Behind TEL)

মাঝে মাঝে ভিড়ের মাঝেও নিজেকে খুব একা লাগে। পাশে বন্ধু থাকে, পরিবার থাকে, কিন্তু মনের গভীরে এমন কিছু কথা জমে থাকে যা কাউকেই বলা যায় না। আমি নিজে জানি সেই নিস্তব্ধতার ওজন কতটা ভারী।

নিজের সেই একাকীত্ব থেকেই আমি বুঝেছি — পৃথিবীতে আমাদের মতো এমন অনেক মানুষ আছে যাদের শুধু একজন 'শ্রোতা' প্রয়োজন। এমন কেউ, যে কোনো বিচার করবে না, উপদেশ দেবে না, শুধু মন দিয়ে কথাগুলো শুনবে।

সেই ভাবনা থেকেই জন্ম 'The Empathy Line (TEL)'। আপনি আপনার নাম প্রকাশ না করেও আমাদের সাথে কথা বলতে পারেন। আপনি একা নন। আমরা আছি।

Is this therapy?

No. We are trained listeners, not licensed therapists. We provide a supportive ear, not clinical treatment. For medical or psychiatric help, please see a qualified professional.

What can I talk about?

Anything. Work stress. Relationship confusion. Grief. Boredom. A weird dream. The call is yours — 60 minutes, no agenda.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a full refund. Within 24 hours, we can reschedule once at no extra charge.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Razorpay — India's leading payment gateway — with 256-bit SSL encryption.

What happens after I pay?

You'll receive a WhatsApp/SMS confirmation with a Calendly link to book your 60-minute slot. Then just call at your scheduled time — we'll be there.

Is it completely anonymous?

Yes. You can use a nickname. Calls are audio-only, no video. Your Caller ID remains hidden. We do not share or sell your data.

1. Nature of Service

The Empathy Line is a listening service only. We are not licensed therapists, doctors, or crisis counselors. We do not provide medical advice or diagnosis.

'দ্য এম্প্যাথি লাইন' শুধুমাত্র একটি লিসেনিং বা শোনার সার্ভিস। আমরা কোনো লাইসেন্সপ্রাপ্ত থেরাপিস্ট, ডাক্তার বা কাউন্সিলর নই।

2. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to book and use our services.

আমাদের সার্ভিস বুক করার জন্য আপনার বয়স অবশ্যই ১৮ বছর বা তার বেশি হতে হবে।

3. Privacy & Confidentiality

Your conversations are strictly confidential. We do not record any calls. However, we reserve the right to report to authorities if there is a clear threat of self-harm or harm to others.

4. Code of Conduct

Any form of harassment, abusive language, or inappropriate behavior towards our listeners will result in immediate termination of the call without a refund.

লিসেনারের সাথে কোনো প্রকার অশালীন আচরণ করলে কলটি সাথে সাথে কেটে দেওয়া হবে।

5. Refund & Cancellation

Cancellations made 24 hours before the session are eligible for a full refund. Within 24 hours, sessions can be rescheduled once but are not refundable.

সেশন শুরুর অন্তত ২৪ ঘণ্টা আগে বাতিল করলে পুরো টাকা ফেরত পাবেন।

6. Session Duration

Each session is strictly for 60 minutes. The listener will end the call once the time limit is reached.
